Booking Info

1.  Q: How much do you charge?

A: All wedding costs are usually handled by your wedding coordinator.  Have your wedding coordinator contact me for rates and availability.  If you are not using a wedding coordinator and are making your own arrangements, contact me for your inquiries.

Music

2. Q: Will you play requests?

A: I am happy to play requested songs if possible.  Occassionally, requested songs require so much time to arrange that a small fee may be charged.  Also, some requests are not suitable for solo guitar, in which case the song can be played on a CD thru my amp.  Other songs may require me to sing, which I will be glad to do if necessary. It all depends on the song.

3.  Q: How long are you willing to play for?

A: I am happy to play solo guitar for 1-3 hours. The ceremony is usually the first hour and extra hours may be a cocktail hour or dinner reception.  Though I am happy to play 3 hours of solo guitar, I highly recommend a duo for that length of time or more.

4.  Q: What kind of duos are available?

A: I can arrange to play with either a fabulous violinist or an outstanding guitarist to form a beautiful duo for all or part of the occassion. We can do Classical, Hawaiian, or Jazz (standards) depending upon your request

Sound

5.   Q: Is your guitar loud enough for our size group?

A: I use a small amp that I can take anywhere and I try to be very conscious of the appropriate volume for every part of the occassion. This amp is suitable for most weddings, however, if you are having a very large wedding your coordinator will arrange for a P.A. sound system for the event, which I will then also use.

6..  Q: Can your amp be used for a microphone or CD/mp3 player?

A: Yes.  If you would like to use a microphone for any reason, I can provide one to use thru my amp.  Also, a CD or mp3 player can be connected to my amp to play any songs you would like to have played in that way.  Please, notify me of such use in advance.

Attire

7.  Q: What do you wear?

A: I usually wear nice Aloha attire (such as in website pictures). Upon request for more formal weddings, I can wear a tuxedo or a more formal dress shirt.
